ETHIOPIAN ELECTRIC POWER CORPORATION ESTABLISHMENT (AMENDMENT)

This Regulation is issued by the Council of Ministers pursuant to Article 5 of the Definition of Powers and duties of the Executive Organs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Proclamation No. 4/1995 and Article 47(4) of the Public Enterprises Establishment Proclamation No. 25/1992.

1. Short Title

This Regulation may be cited as the "Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation Establishment (Amendment) Regulation No.90/2003"

2. Amendment

The Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation Establishment Council of Ministers Regulation No. 18/1997 is amended as follows:

Article 6 is hereby deleted and replaced by the following new Article 6:

"6. Capital"

The Authorized capital of the Corporation is Birr 12 Billion (Birr Twelve billion) of which Birr 8 Billion (Birr Eight Billion) is paid up in cash and in kind.

3. Effective Date

This Regulation shall come into force as of the date of its publication in the Federal Negarit Gazeta.
