WHEREAS, the issuance of public health law is believed to be an important step for the promotion of the health of the society and for the.creation of healthy environ- ment for the future generation thereby enabling it assume its responsibility; NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows: PART ONE General Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the "Public Health Proclamation No. U .
